Easing of fish exports to Israel due to adoption of EU organoleptic standards

The EU led a twinning initiative whereby the Israeli Ministry of Health will now accept safety and quality standards for the import of fish as fixed by the EU. EU organoleptic checks of fish will now be accepted for import into Israel without further checks. This will ease sales for fish exporters in Israel, reducing time and costs.
