Foreign expertise and technology are critical for Taiwan’s success. However, local content requirements embedded in contracts emphasize the need for a strong domestic supply chain. Taiwan aspires to become a regional hub for the offshore wind industry in Asia, creating significant export opportunities for Dutch companies with specialized knowledge and innovative solutions.

Energy Taiwan, the region’s premier green energy industry expo, will take place from 29 – 31 October, 2025, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Co-organized by SEMI and TAITRA, this event will host over 1,600 companies and welcome more than 25,000 visitors from around the globe, solidifying its reputation as a key event in Asia’s green energy calendar.

Netherlands Office Taipei, together with Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), and Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE), will set up a Netherlands Lounge, in which every participant will be introduced individually.
