This is the second part of the first Symposium on Regenerative Medicine in the Netherlands and Japan! In this part, possibilities for collaboration between Japan and the Netherlands in various fields (from research to commercialization, and from the laboratory to the patient) are discussed.

We have come a far way by developing revolutionary technological advances for our healthcare system. However, we are also experiencing ageing populations, and changing lifestyles are rapidly increasing the number of people with chronic diseases. Regenerative Medicine is a new treatment focused on repairing cell, tissue, and organ damage that can prevent or cure chronic diseases: we are here to revolutionize our healthcare system by crossing borders!
