Opportunities in the Gulf agriculture & food

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a political and economic union of Arab states bordering the Gulf, namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, established in 1981. The GCC countries are among the wealthiest nations worldwide in terms of per capita income. To decrease the dependence on the hydrocarbon industry the governments give political priority to economic diversification.
